New Toshiba Ultrabook with Windows 8 - Closer to the launch of Microsofts latest operating system, Windows 8, Toshiba introduces four new Ultrabook laptop. There are two models of the concept is unique and deserves special attention, namely Satellite U840W and U920T.




Toshiba Satellite U840W is the worlds first Ultrabook equipped Cinematic screen measuring 14.4-inch Ultra Wide (1792 × 768 pixels) with a 21:9 aspect ratio. The advantage the extra wide screen feels when you use it to watch movies, given that most films is recorded in 21:9 format. Another advantage, you can open two windows side by side with the more liberal than the screen that has a 16:9 aspect ratio.

While Satellite U920T adopt a sliding design that allows it to change from a regular laptop to tablet in seconds. 12.5 inch IPS screen has been using Corning Gorilla Glass is more resistant to scratches.

Two other Ultrabook Portege Z930 and Toshiba is Satellite U840. Z930 is the lightest 13.3-inch Ultrabook in the world today, with a weight of only 1.12 kg. Also only 15.9 mm thickness, with a magnesium chassis slim but strong. For battery life, Z930 can be used up to 8 hours before it needs to be filled. For processors, the Z930 has been using the third-generation Intel Core processors.

Lastly, the Toshiba Satellite U840 present to meet the demand for Ultrabook with more affordable price. Ultrabook with screen size of 14 inches is also relying on a third-generation Intel Core processors.

The four new product will go on sale late October 2012, pending the release of Windows 8. For the price, U840W will be sold in the range of U.S. $ 1249, Z930 and U920t around U.S. $ 1,799 and U.S. $ 1,199 U840.
